Last night was Dusty's bachelor party. He gets married to Michelle 2 weeks from today. I genrally want to avoid these silly affairs but this one was remarkable. The part I liked the most was watching the relationships with his brothers, family and friends. I was excited and proud to tell his mother all about it and did not have to edit out one look, comment or action from anyone from the entire night. Everything I observed would have and did make her proud. Every one of them acted like real men having a good time together and enjoying each other's company like real men should. I don't have to tell you how rare that is in this day and age. Most of the time these things look like a bunch of men looking for something they think they have lost or are about to lose. This party celebrated what these men have found and will never lose. How could a father ask for anything more?

does ANY wife's heart good to read this kind of update after a bachelor party. :) i've never quite understood why men have to 'celebrate' with what they think they are losing... aren't they the ones who actually ASKED their bride-to-be to marry them? it's one or the other guys... and your guys have figured out which one is better. good men i tell you... i'm proud of my brothers!
